Hawaii Cuts Education Budget by Going to 4-Day School Week

According to ABC News, the State of Hawaii has decided to deal with its educational financial crisis by NOT laying off teachers, but by having furlough days: state-wide. Hawaii's Board of Education has apparently decided to go to a 4-day school week reducing annual school days to 163.
